Oral Presentation dates and essay deadline

Oral presentations

will take place on Thursday 13th and Monday 17th January, 2011 at 12.0o in A1.

Students are kindly requested to sign up for the date most convenient for them on the piece of paper attached on my office door and write the title of their presentation.

The names of the professors attending will be announced on the day. Here is an evaluation card that professors will be using. Please make sure that your content and your delivery style comply with it.

Essay deadline

Essays need to have been submitted by Friday 14th January, 12.00 pm. Write 500 words on ONE of the following topics:

  • Write an essay discussing the benefits or threats of Fluorine, Fluorides and Fluoridation. Justify your answers with literature/resources after 1990.
  • Write an essay discussing the role of Chemistry in preventing soil contamination in the last 20 years.
  • Evaluate existing VOCs control strategies in Europe in the last 20 years.

NB. Intentional or accidental plagiarism means zero mark.

Kindly note that handwritten or printed essays will not be accepted. Essays need to be sent by email ONLY.
